The firm
Empirica was founded in June 2023 in Karachi by two people who had spent years working inside companies: corporate environments, early-stage startups, and the businesses that sit somewhere between. In each, the quality of strategy, operating systems, and execution infrastructure determined what a business could become.
What we observed, consistently, was that the gap between a business with real ambition and a business that could actually execute on that ambition was almost never about the idea. It was about the structures and systems underneath it.
We decided to work on that gap directly, not from the outside. Our rebuilding practice is built on one premise: if you can diagnose what's actually broken and run the fix yourself, across strategy, operations, technology, and team, you can transform what a business is capable of in months, not years.
As that work evolved, we began applying the same logic to building new ventures. We identify sectors with structural advantages, do the primary research, model the economics, and build with conviction. We take on the equity and run the company.
Different starting point. Same engine.
